Book Launch: BITTER SWEET by Hattie Williams

Last week, friends of the author and her publishing team gathered to celebrate the launch of the paperback edition of Hattie William's novel, Bitter Sweet. The event took place amidst the cozy and lovely atmosphere of Queen’s Park Books bookshop in North West London. This was Melody’s first event since starting at Mushens Entertainment as Foreign Rights Manager, just over two months ago. She was delighted to be a part of it!  

After a day of near incessant rain, the late afternoon sunlight came pouring through the windows as Hattie welcomed guests with her signature warmth and friendliness.  Conversations and drinks were flowing, with dozens of people coming to show their support in spite of the rain and the tube strikes! 

Signed copies of Bitter Sweet were artfully displayed on table in the middle of the shop as well as dotted around, the bright orange covers lending the already cozy atmosphere of the shop an extra warm glow. There was even a copy of the Romanian edition present, courtesy of the Romanian publisher’s team. The guests happily mingled and browsed copies of the book, with a number of copies being taken home by delighted readers.
