Book Launch: The Shadow Key by Susan Stokes-Chapman

On Tuesday this week we were delighted to attend the launch of THE SHADOW KEY by Susan Stokes-Chapman – hot on the heels of the news that she’s hit number 18 in the bestseller list! Taking place in the Old Operating Theatre museum, it was an atmospheric and enjoyable evening. Interviewed by her editor Liz Foley, we learned all about Susan’s love of Wales, her fascination with mythology and folklore, and the plot points and research which she wished she could have fitted into the novel.

Susan also revealed that she first visited the Old Operating Theatre in 2015 and it was where the seeds of character Dr Henry Talbot were first planted.

After the talk and some great questions from the audience (about her favourite myths and scenes she wished she hadn’t cut) everyone mingled in the museum and drank themed cocktails. Susan signed many copies for fans and friends in the atmospheric surroundings.
