Mushens Entertainment Team Attends Saara El-Arifi’s CLEOPATRA launch

Yesterday, the Mushens Entertainment team descended on Waterstones Tottenham Court Road for the very exciting launch of Saara El-Arifi’s CLEOPATRA. We were escorted to the downstairs cafe/bar, Lucky Jim’s, where we found an array of delights: a CLEOPATRA face cut-out for photo opportunities, delicious canapes, and even a cake in the shape of the book, brilliantly crafted by the author’s sister, Sally El-Arifi. Naturally, however, the absolute highlight was the magnificent crown that Saara was appropriately wearing! 

The speeches by Saara, her agent, Juliet Mushens, and her editor, Suzie Dooré, were delightful and you could visibly see how much the trio had enjoyed working together on CLEOPATRA. Saara’s tribute to Juliet as a dedicated agent who goes all-out to support and advocate for her was particularly touching. Afterwards, there was much hilarity as the guests decided that the cake must be cut in a formal ceremony and hustled Saara up to perform the honours in front of a cheering audience.
