Joselyn Takacs

Joselyn Takacs is a writer and teacher based in Portland, Oregon. She is the author of Pearce Oysters, a 2024 best book of summer pick by Elle and the New York Post. Her fiction has appeared or is forthcoming in American Short Fiction, Gulf Coast, Narrative, Tin House, Harvard Review, The Rumpus, DIAGRAM, and elsewhere. She holds a PhD in Creative Writing and Literature from the University of Southern California and an MFA from Johns Hopkins University. She’s currently collaborating on feature screenplays and writing her second novel.
