Saara El-Arifi at the Hay Festival for a Nibbies Salon

Author Saara El-Arifi was at the Hay Festival on Saturday 30th May for a Nibbies Salon where she sat down with her publisher, Natasha Bardon (HarperVoyager and Magpie), and Katie Fraser, The Bookseller’s deputy books editor to discuss the author-editor relationship, including Saara's unique route to getting published.

The talk covered many different topics as the trio sought to demystify the publishing process, discussing everything from submitting to editors and agents (and Saara's own agent, Juliet Mushens), as well as the publication of Saara's novels which include her debut, THE FINAL STRIFE, FAEBOUND and CURSEBOUND, and more recently the bestselling CLEOPATRA.
