The Impossible Fortune is the UK’s top selling fiction Hardback of 2026 (so far)

Following on from a stellar 2025 where Richard Osmans The Impossible Fortune was crowned The Sunday Times top selling fiction of the year (with We Solve Murders coming in at number 4), the novel has now been named as the bestselling hardback of 2026 (so far). More than six months after it originally published!

The paperback (which doesn't publish until May) is currently the number 1 bestseller in Crime and Mystery on Amazon!
