Karina Piser

Karina Piser's writing and reporting on inequality, public health, and identity has appeared in The Nation, The New York Times, The Atlantic, The New Republic, Washington Post and elsewhere. She has received grants and fellowships from the Institute of Current World Affairs, Save the Children, and the Economic Hardship Reporting Project. 

Originally from Berkeley, California, she lives in Paris, France with her husband and daughter.
