ABSENCE by Abigail Dean acquired by Hemlock Press (UK) and Scribner (USA)

Abigail Dean's incredible new move ABSENCE has been acquired by Hemlock Press in the UK, and Scribner in the US.

Publishing in the summer of 2027, ABSENCE follows the Knight family for 55 years, following the disappearance of their young son.

We revisit them every five years for one day – from 1970 to 2025 – checking in with them at weddings, at funerals, all the way from childhood to adulthood.
