Solstice, Simon & Schuster’s fantasy, science fiction and horror imprint, has won a five-way auction for Lucy V Kirk’s debut Sacred Poisons, as well as a second book entitled The Hare and the Lamb which forms a sapphic Gothic romantasy duology.
Solstice Books Editorial director, Gemma Creffield, acquired UK and Commonwealth rights in a two-book deal from Rachel Neely, while US rights were sold to Shannon Plackis at HarperCollins.
Sacred Poisons will be published on 4th November 2027. in hardback, e-book and audio.
